Prison Break is a show about a soft spoken young man who talks like a serial killer and has a large group of rough cons, an FBI agent, and one sexy doctor that all pursue their dream to stick their faces in his face as much as possible as he races against the clock to do a variety of important action based things. In prison. So why watch it?? 1- Unbelievably pretty main character with a full sleeve of tattoos 2- Gorgeously crafted villains that make you feel. That guy you hated last season for being a horrible monster or a general prick? Well in a few seasons they will be your favorite character. The reoccurring bad guys on this show are just given so much depth it’s ridiculous. I actually really ended up shifting my interests, and all of my favorite characters went from all of the good guys to former bad guys.  3- It is a common occurrence for male characters to completely ignore the concept of personal space with each other (it’s prison, yo) But for the more politically minded, my personal favorite character is bisexual in canon and I think he is probably one of the most well structured characters on the show. I was really happy to see that.  4- STRONG WOMEN!! Granted there are not a *lot* of woman on the show because it’s primarily set in male prison and center around male prisoners…but there are several female characters and all of them are completely and utterly badass survivors.  5- It is a heart attack. I mean shit. Every episode you are just screaming at your TV. It’s a complete rush and there is always something exciting happening. Twists and turns and drama and excitement.  6- Glorious codependent brothers.  7- Everyone is likeable. Every ship is likable. The small fandom that exists on tumblr for this show DOES NOT WANK PERIOD. We all generally have respect for everything.
